Shruti is based out of Mumbai and Pranshu is a Delhi boy, and we had planned a destination pre wedding for them in Himachal in the month of March this year as both of them are nature lovers, but (not) to our surprise we had to cancel it due to the COVID situation.
When everyone was stuck at their homes, and it was less likely for things to get back to normal anytime soon, we came to a conclusion after discussing with the couple to shoot their pre wedding at their home in Delhi in July. As they say, ‘Home is where the heart is’, the shoot turned out to be nothing short of a fairy tale, filled with pure chemistry and love.
Beyond a formal pre wedding portrait session, we set up something like a lifestyle shoot where we documented them in their everyday routine.
We let them fall into their own rhythm, while they were joking around, teasing each other, playing scrabble, throwing its tiles on each other, pillow fighting etc, we got just the perfect, most intimate moments of them together. We also had a date night setup with fairy lights, where the couple were in a cozy setting, sipping wine together.
